Inside Papua New Guinea: Land of 860 Languages

I've made it safely to my 134th country - PAPUA NEW GUINEA! The last 48 hours here in PNG have been nothing short of incredible. I am truly amazed by how culturally and linguistically diverse Papua New Guinea is -- 12% of all the world's spoken languages are here! And not to mention, the stunning landscapes of green mountains, rolling foothills and white sanded beaches.

It's like an unexplored wonderland, and I couldn't be happier to be here right now! Papua New Guinea is the world's last frontier.

I got in touch with a friend of a friend, Bruce, who has let me crash at his place and he has driven me all over the country. This video gives you an inside look at my perspectives of Papua New Guinea and some of the interesting things I've learned so far about this remote country.

Fascinating country really. Which one knows so little about. I knew it's incredibly diverse and has a lot of language but frankly, not much of an idea what the country looks or looks like; it feels like it could be one of the most unexplored countries on Earth, so loving to see some footage from there here!

I am Dr Moi Seneka. Drew Binsky you haven't even started yet and there are more. The most fierce ones talked about are the most friendliest for life. I went night diving as a young medical Doctor with my German young medical student friend near Boera village in the early eighties off the coast standing on coral stones to take our breath in the dark. He shouted out to me because I had swam far and said "Moi, if my mother sees me swimming like this in the night she's going to have a heart attack. He truly enjoyed his stay in PNG and he is now an ophthalmologist in Germany. Cheerio bone Tanikiu badaherea.

With the population of 8 million and more than 800 languages is spoken well that's impressive, here in the Philippines we have only more than 100 spoken languages but have a 100 million people.
