Hi sis. We also have those in the Philippines. We also called it "Dwendes or Duendes". They are real. My lola (grandma) told me that I used to have a white (good one) Dwende friend when I was a kid. He always give me fruits and any kinds of food. BUT.. My lola told me to never accept anything from them because it is always come with a price. Friendly or not they're creatures that you should never mess with in the first place. If you tried to eat anything given from them, you will be transported to their world and you can never go back. Unless you did something good for them and they're grateful about it, that's the time you can accept their gifts (money, gold, etc. BUT NEVER FOOD, STILL DON'T EAT IT.) Brujas are real too. I have so many paranormal stories that are quite similar between Mexico and Philippines. I come from a generational family of healers or people who can talk to these type of creatures. love lots! <3

I’ve seen a duende walking in my room too when I was about 8 or 9, it was walking in my room sometime during the middle of the night. I didn’t have a phone at the time so idk what exact time it was but it was walking away with its back towards me. I knew I shouldn’t make noise so I just laid back down and eventually fell asleep. My family would also hear little voices talking outside in the early morning hours. I remember I would also get in trouble for “breaking” things or messes being made but it was never me (I don’t have siblings) so idk if that was the duende making a mess or what but I was also scared to find out what was really causes the ruckus and I also just took the blame.

Loved the video babe! My mom always tells us never to interact with a duende if we come across one. She would tell a story about a lonely woman who lived in a nearby village in Mexico. Basically one day these two small children-like creatures knocked on her door and asked for food and shelter. She took in them bc she always wanted children and over the years the "children" never aged and she was aging horribly. They always wanted to play and dance. She would dance and play with them nonstop. Eventually, they wouldn't let her sleep or eat. Whenever she would try to eat beans they would put rocks in them and if she tried to sleep they would pull her hair and legs. They were always playing harmful pranks and being mischievous. She eventually then just died from exhaustion/stress. And supposedly they are attracted to fig trees.

Legit you’re one of my fav channels, I’m a big fan. You’re soothing voice helps with the eerie videos. When I watch them it makes me feel like I’m with my cousins having a sleep over when we were kids just trying to spook one another with our family ghost stories. Can’t wait to watch more vids in the future.

Hi Daicy, in the little town where I grew up in Puebla they are called “tapayucos” my aunt who was around 9 or 10. She went mill to grind corn for maza…she left early close to 6am, but came back crying she told the adults that some small kids or little men did not let her pass, they blocked her way to the mill…I guess they were just being mischievous.
I always remember this like if it was yesterday.

That first duende story of the duende messing up the teacher's posters was so strange. I wonder if the duende is more of a mischievous spirit than a bad one?

Those photos of the duende in the tree and running away is so weird. At first it looks like a doll, so I don't know whether to believe that story or to think that it was all faked.

The duendes kind of remind me of the chucky dolls. They're just creepy.

My people do not have duendes but we do have very small people about a foot tall. They usually gather ash from our fires and you see their foot and hand prints in them. If they visit you as a baby it means you will be someone very special, and it has never been wrong. They visited my grandfather quite a bit and he was named man of the century. Once my grandfather was playing in the garden as a child and my grandfather was being rambunctious and loud and one of them popped up from the garden and chased him around the yard...lol. It is good to leave them gifts and offerings but they never cause harm.
