That's my favorite part of their cookies also. The crunch is so incredibly satisfying, and the chocolate so soft, that it makes the inside a little fudgy, on top of being tender and chewy. If I could change one thing, I would make them a teensy less sweet... but they are pretty close to perfection. That's my favorite flavor also, and I don't even prefer walnuts.😂 But they have to be fresh and "just" golden like these. The frozen and the browned ones do not compare- at all.
