MOST EXPEN$IVE Tuna in the World! Catch and Cook

Brook and I flew to southern California last week to fish for giant pacific bluefin tuna with Fin Fetish Charters out of Marina Del Rey, California. Our goal was to go offshore and use flying fish on a kite to get these monster tuna to bite. This is the most common and effective way to get the big pacific bluefin tuna to eat. It was a trip I'll never forget and I'm so happy to share my first ever pacific bluefin tuna with you guys! We brought it back to Dylan and Adam's apartment to make some tuna dishes for dinner. This is the first of four videos I have from our Cali trip so be on the lookout!

A two piece set of tiny pieces of bluefin tuna over rice wrapped in a little bit of seaweed in Japan goes for $80. a 87 inch bluefin tuna goes for about $10-$15, 000 at a cannery. Where as it is over $1 million at the blue fin Street market in Japan

The best part of this Ep is that after bringing the fish on deck, you thank him!! That was awesome.. It is a tradition here in India that you thank the food, the provider, and the producer.. Our book say "Annadaathaa sukheebhava", which translates into "May my food provider be happy always"...

Give it a 🐟 . Love your channel great action ! I was 250 miles out on a vessel and I saw one flying fish . Second leap into the air it was over . Rainbow runner snaped it up as soon as it hit the water but man at the big old tuna . Nice day it was .

Absolutely love your videos. Really appreciate the cooking part. I love to cook myself and I like you putting your own twist in dishes (I'm the same way). Most catch and cooks are pretty boring, mostly because people can't cook in a creative way (which is totally fine as well). keep the good content coming and I will keep watching. Going out for Bluefin tuna tomorrow myself on the East Coast

Fried clams would be also great with that for texture.
