Keto Show: Oopsie Bread 'Rolls'

Показать описание
The mystical Oopsie Bread ... buns... rolls... etc. This recipe only has 3 ingredients. They are 3 eggs, 3 ounces of cream cheese, and 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar.

It makes 8 'slices' and for 2 the nutritional info is: 129 calories, 11.2g of fat, 1.2 net carbs, and 6.2g of protein.

This bread is great for burgers, sandwiches, toast... pretty much anything you'd use bread for. I was recently asked if the cream of tartar can be subbed out for something else, it can. The tartar acts as a stabilizer for the egg whites, so vinegar could be used in it's place.

I hope this video helps and if there are any recipes you'd like to see ... feel free to comment below or tweet me @KaitNAnderson.

After reading many times how to make the legendary Oopsie Roll, I failed, a lot. After watching your video, I have finally almost succeeded. The only place I went wrong was not spreading it out more on the pan (I used a muffin top pan). The rolls were kind of raw yet in the middle after 30 mins.

My one recommendation is adding some spices to them, as they taste pretty plain on their own. This is one of the closest I've come to having actual bread.

In summary, THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!

By "bumps" do you mean the surface of the oopsie rolls after cooked? If they fell apart, all I can ask is did you add the cream of tartar (it stabilizes the yolks) and how long did you cook them for? If you whipped the egg whites to a stiff peak and combined the softened cream cheese with yolks, then lightly folded them together. Then you might just have to cook them for a little longer. I hope this helps.

I'm sorry to hear that. "Fold" just means to add a little in the middle then take a spoon/spatula/whatever you're using to mix and take the sides into the middle. Instead of just stirring it up. You lightly repeat the motion of bringing the sides into the middle. Does that help?

I fucked up big time on these. I had no idea what "fold" meant, so I ruined two batches.

Oh well. Suppose I can try again tomorrow.

Ok I need to buy a mixer it looks like.

Maybe I didn't mix the egg whites/cream of tartar long enough. My mix was practically fluid when I tried pouring into the pan.
