Another classic from the closed captions. Suchomimus says the vehicle was "hit by mortar fire" and that becomes "hit by mortifier." The Russians certainly ought to be mortified at being picked off by a mortar.

Another example of reckless behaviour by holiday tourist's, not taking responsibility for their hire vehicles, it will be difficult to explain this on the insurance claim, I doubt they'll get the deposit back ever, or dealings with this agent again.

Yes, I found it interesting. After the Desert Storm ceasefire my company got permission to fire up small arms. Shrug. Why I have no idea unless they just didn't want the hassle of turning it in. We ran around one morning with our tanks and towing vehicles we found out to make a quick and dirty range. My tank found a MT-LB that had been a mortar track .. it had been hit from the air so was very toasty. Funny .. we stopped one time and the MT-LB ran into the back of the Abrams and smashed the center exhaust grille. Fun times.

The MT-LB could have been a water system in a Russian village or maybe some school supplies for a decade. Here in the States we spend $700 billion a year on defense. Congress likes the jobs.
