Vietnam will definitely be on this list, I have been here and experienced for 2 years, friendly people, beautiful girls ready to love you, very cheap cost only about 3-400$ for all your life, including renting an apartment

In Bangkok, outside the city center, you can get a clean, well-maintained condo with good Wi-Fi (but without a pool) for about 16, 000 baht per month. I just left there, and now Im in Vietnam, which is about 20% to 30% cheaper. Ive been hopping between Vietnam and Thailand for the last five months, so I think I know.

If youre thinking about general safety, quality, clean and safe food, ease of using English, and good, diverse food options, then the cost of living in Malaysia offers the best value!

Suggestion: You should really start making more videos for younger people. Specifically, digital nomads in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. I'm sure these demographics would highly benefit from knowing that they too have options when it comes to living abroad and saving on both money and taxes.

Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, is the best city for expats, according to research by the US-based language learning app Preply. They focused on factors like affordability, internet connectivity, safety, and the difficulty of learning the local language. People moving to Kuala Lumpur can get by on around $1, 091 a month, benefiting from low taxes and housing costs.

I just returned from Southeast Asia. I realize this info is nearly a year old, but the monthly rental figures were probably wildly understated even back then. In Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for example, $800-$1, 100 per month for a decent place would be typical.

I'm surprised the Philippines and/or Vietnam wasn't mentioned.

Overall, I like Thailand the most. There are plenty of places to travel, convenient transportation, high-speed internet, and a variety of delicious food.

Personally, I'm seriously considering retiring to Vietnam 🇻🇳! Really, I am! My personal preference would be in a more remote, but, not TOO remote of a location. Somewhere in and, around the Central Highlands region of the country. Thats just my preference.
