Thanks for the guide. I just got ACC two weeks ago and this game is no joke.
Ive had good luck with Lexus, McLaren and Ferrari. The Mercedes and the GTR will eat you alive

I've been using the Mustang this season in LFM, and managed to set new PBs on 2 tracks. It's a ton of fun when you get used to it

Thanks for the video! For some reason i began driving the Porsche when it came out (first the 2019 version and now the 2023 version) and I still drive it. Top speed is an issue but with the LFM BoP the situation improved, even at Monza i can defend myself quite well. The real issue I have is with the car becoming unstable when the tank empties, also the tires' grip seems to suddenly disappear until they stabilize, but even during a quick race i always have those 1-2 laps where the car is crazy before i can tame it again.

I went for the "recommended beginner" car, when I started with ACC. Didn't like the recommended. Saw a video, where it was said; "Choose the car you like the most and learn to use it" Since then I am only using Porsche. Took some time to control the beast, that Porsche is. Also did my LFM license in Porsche. Porsche for me, no matter what others say. Porsche is the car I luv, and by that I have fun and with fun, I drive more and by that get more experience. IMHO, drive the car you like the most for what ever reason that might be and learn to control it. They all have advantage and disadvantages!. Later you can change to a car that fits your driving style or stick to the one you started with. But before you learn to drive a car, you have no clue about your driving style.

The Porsche’s cornering has currently ruined driving anything else for me. Even though it gets angry the second you have a misstep.

I choose the 296GT3 for my league racing, after mclaren, because mclaren was sliding too much with my driving style and killing tires, Im trying to go on throttle asap or dont lift throttle at all (use it within 5-7%), with mclaren it gave me slide but with ferrari it gives me advantage on mid-speed corners, after mac ferrari feels like grip eater. but acceleration is problem in some corners and bumps could be taken if you raise a front a little bit. Also you forget to add that ferrari have really good traction control

i have been driving the audi for a couple days by now, and i have to say i highly prefer the porshe(old main) over the audi. however, ill stick with the audi because im always the only one brave enough to drive it xD

My favourite has become the bentley and now the -39kg on monza lfm bop has gave it steroids. On the straights in monza there is nothing faster, at the start I nearly always pull on everyone in it. I always found it the most consistent car and best for long stints. My second favourite is the m4, it feels slower but more nimble in fast bends, love it on the 24hr Nürburgring.

Bit gutted to see the Audi score low - personally I love this car, and since 1.9 and with your Arnoud preset I find I am consistently fastest in it compared to other cars. I know what you mean about the rear end getting nervous though - glad its not just me that’s noticed it. Great video all round though, big thanks!

Thanks for the video!!
I’m fairly new to sim racing on ACC and chose the Ferrari based on other videos

However, after trying out other cars just for fun, I found I really get on well with the Porsche, maybe I’ll switch into it next season

Im bad in the Ferrari 296, Aston and Mustang i just can't drive them fast but the porsche 992, Audi and Honda NSX just click for me... I don't know why!?

After I bought new wheel I came back for real to ACC and started with Ferrari 296 since it is the most popular car right now. After couple of races i found that car really weird to drive. Maybe it was the setup thing but i just couldn't find the pace in. So I tried mclaren and oh my God I love this car. The 1st gear is useless but this car just feels right for me.

I drive the Lexus, with BOP its a straight line monster, I've only ever driven in it Suzuka (which was quite competitive) and Donnington (which wasn't as good)

I wish there was another way to BoP the cars, because the 720s EVO in Mount Panorama was an awful experience for me in LFM, so much that I didn't race that week. It's like the weight destabilize the car and it's takes even longer to brake. I'm not good enough to adjust to weird weight behavior changes in a car, I'd rather let's say have less acceleration instead.
