Parrot Swing VTOL Plane and Quadcopter Full Flight Review

The Parrot Swing MiniDrone takes off like a quadcopter and transforms to a X-Wing type airplane with the press of a button.

If you're new to quadcopters and RC planes don't worry. The Parrot Swing is EASY TO FLY! It's not going to let you over bank and stall which would destroy most RC airplanes. When it quadcopter mode, it won't let it fall too fast. It has a sensor that will measure the distance to the ground and will limit the decent so if you reduce the throttle too quickly it'll gently descend at a safe speed until it lands safely.

I've had a Parrot Swing for a bit over a month, and I love the living tweedle out of it! :-D
It is easy to fly and is very forgiving; I'd recommend the Swing to new pilots of both quads and fixed-wing -- though it doesn't really teach the standard basic operation of traditional fixed-wing aircraft. I really enjoy putting it into aeroplane mode and performing loop-de-loops and barrel rolls with it.

The Parrot Swing is a real kick in the pants in my opinion. :-)

Only issue I noticed was the wings are pretty easy to put nicks in. Hit quite a few trees though. Lol. Otherwise, it's a great, budget drone.

They just took the parrot mambo added some foam wings and moved the sensors to the back and some different programming lol.

I know this is a late comment but I own one and it's absolutely amazing❤I love ever second when I'm flying mine, I own the one with the white wings, gets dirty easily if you crash it😂but I've only had 2 accidents in the past 2 and half years since I've had it

Unfortunately not everybody flies mode 2 and most manufacturers and reviewers do not pick up on this point. I know that the mode is changeable in the app but the controller appears to be fixed. 😞
