I must say that you are one of very few you tubers who does not talk non sensical stuff. Only work related information and stuff, no other unnecessary talks . Very good and very mature.

Nice to see you getting the silo filled, a little work but a good relief for you and you dad, I would think. Thanks for sharing, have a great week!

Great job! You can really see the effort put into each stage, from harvesting to distributing the silage in the storage. I'm amazed at how you handle such a massive workload around the clock! A true example of how teamwork and attention to detail bring great results. It's inspiring to watch!

I can see many benefits to the silo storage of feed. The top unloader, the quality of feed, the saving of labour, and of course, robots can easily pick up feed. It's going to be a big change on your farm.
Come winter and you will need a sweeper brush for the robots outdoor paths. May I suggest one with hydraulic angle control like on a snow plow. It will make your life so much easier when the snow comes and the cows are hungry. It will work just as good in summer as well keeping the paths clear of debris.
Cheers all. 🇨🇦

nice view from the silo at dusk. Before 2012 we had 6 silos each with 2, 000 m³ (56, 600 cft), now only bunker silos. Bunker silos are standard in Germany, upright silos are now very rare. Greetings from East Germany.

Terrific job Eric! Your channel is in my top three and I love to see new videos pop up. This new silo system is incredible, and as an electrical engineer, I’m happy 😃

What a view from up there! Eric - be overly careful in that silo, it only takes one wrong step.

Hang a couple new forks on each unloader seems like a proper idea.
Nice edit, Eric.

Guys when your in the silo’s please wear a dust mask ! your young and it doesn’t bother you now but when your older it definitely tells on your lungs . I never thought building dust and sawdust bothered me when I was younger but. It tells on me now . Sorry I don’t mean to try and tell you what to do, just a wee bit of advice from an old guy . Great video though 👍

As someone who fed cows on a dairy from bunks and had hmc in a 60ft stave i cant possible imagine choosing to build new silos, just climbing that dusty pigeon crap covered chute once a week to switch doors was bad enough. But hey its your farm 😂 do what is right for you
