Due to popular request, this is the supercut episode of our Operation Iraqi Freedom series.

President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair have issued an ultimatum to Saddam Hussein, leave the country in 48 hours or face an invasion. As the ultimatum expires, British, American and Australian Special Forces move in to Iraq, followed shortly after by the full might of British, American, Polish and Australian land, naval and air power.

Mother served in the Invasion of Iraq and was there in Baghdad. Now I’m watching a 4.5 long hour video on the war she served in. Life is great with a military family, folks.

As a combat veteran of OEF 12/13 I can say I have nothing but respect for the soldiers who were the first to enter the war. I can’t even begin to imagine the guilt a lot of the commanders felt when they made the wrong call and got their soldiers killed. Also, for that friendly fire from that air strike has to haunt that pilot daily.

This was my first deployment. I turned 19 in Jan went to Kuwait in February and entered Iraq in march. Was a hell of a year. Thanks for the video.
