This is crazy! Just came across your video. I've been making pickle hot sauce for years. My son takes it in a shot glass. I use Piquin, my own spicey garlic pickles and brine.
I highly recommend your viewers try this recipe and remember that if habanero is too much, use a chili of your choice.

This sounds wonderful. I love dill pickles and adding that flavor to hot sauce sounds very interesting. I'll be using homemade dill pickles and I'll for sure throw in some hotter peppers, but I think I'll go a little a bit milder than you did. I'm not as young as I used to be and the hotter stuff is getting harder to handle. But I'll go as hot as I can for as long as I can.

Keeping my word is something I take very seriously. Therefore, here I am on my personal acct watching this video. This is a really neat idea. I've seen everything from Valentina, nopales/habenero, chipotle, grapefruit, garlic based sauces, to yuzu lemon. But pickled-based is something completely new to me. Cheers ma8

First of all: Awesome, and thank you for making this video! I have a question though, what pepper would you recommend (that I could find at your average DFW grocery store) that I can use to ramp up the heat but doesn't add a lot of its own flavor? Like habaneros are pretty fruity, what would you recommend to keep it as "pickley" as possible? Thanks Drew!

Pickles and pepper do tickle my flavor pallet. I love the taste of habeneros but they to hot most of the time. I do want to ask you where do you get your hot sauce bottles?
