The ipad air 5 is finally here along with a few new things that Apple introduced. While the iPad lineup can sometimes be confusing, I will focus on the iPad AIr 5 in this video and talk about 3 solid reasons that you should not get the new ipad Air 5.

The iPad Air 5 comes in at $599 which is not that cheap. It has a big display, usb c, and the new m1 chip. The iPad Air 5 also supports the Apple Pencil 2 and the magic keyboard. In some ways, the iPad Air 5 is very similar to the iPad Pro. But the iPad Air 5 is missing a few things like a good display, quad speakers, and more.

The iPad Air 5 also only comes in at 64gb base model which is not enough storage. The iPad Air 5 also will not be able to fully utilize the m1 chip due to iPados.

So is the iPad 5 worth it? Is the iPad AIr 5 beter than the 2021 Pro? Lets find out!

I upgraded from the iPad Air 4 64GB to iPad Air 5 256GB for 8GB of Ram 5G for streaming less lag than iPad Air 4. I used 32 GB of storage even with iCloud . Needed all I mentioned. Thought of getting the 11 inch iPad Pro but I use Bluetooth headphones or speakers found 100 watt speaker for $20 and got a small one for travel water box speaker. 60hz is enough my eyes don’t focus that fast for 120hz. For media consumption they just made it more AWESOME, perfect for me. $50 got speakers.

I do not like that statement. Price difference between iPadAir and iPadPro is still big. Most users does not benefit from Pro features and bigger storage. It really depends on exact usage. For example, my wife have iPad 8, she have everything she needs, including three games. Storage is still under 50% of 32GB. My iPadAir is under 30GB with all SW and games.

I have plan to replace rented Air for my own one at end of the year. Most probably iPadAir 5 will be my choice. I will consider iPadPro only for 12.9 screen, but not for 11" as 11" Pro does not provide anything handy for me.

I will like video more when you will try to explain differences for different users and make viewer decide on its own.

Was thinking of getting the iPad Air 5 but after seeing the price I figured I’d get the pro but now I want to wait because rumor has it…. Next iPad Pro 11 will have mini LED also

My thoughts exactly when I saw they didn't add a 128 gb storage option to the Ipad Air 5. I am really leaning towards the Ipad Pro now. Do you think people should wait until the next announcement from Apple in the fall to get the Ipad Pro or just get it now?

Tbh even tho I love Face ID I rather have on iPad 256gb with keyboard and Pencil for less money. It’s basically iPhone XR back in 2018.
Pro looks in cheaper body. And I think this is the case with iPad Air 5.

Some people dont understand what an M1 chip is and how much it helps with the battery and performance, and where are you all getting the pieces so low, the difference between pro and air is at least 500$
