yeah I this happened to me, literally I remember when I was in 3rd grade my female “close friend” casually mentioning that she doesn’t like hanging out with boys as much as girls and my response was literally “Yes! Finally someone who gets it!” Then we both dyed a streak of our hair (I dyed a streak purple, she dyed a streak blue) and we became close friends who hung out 5-6 days a week. I don’t know her anymore and neither of us actually confirmed whether we were queer or not at the time, but I looked up her instagram a few weeks ago and I saw a photo of her at a pride parade so I know I definitely didn’t imagine it.
