In this session participants will be introduced to a model of positive psychology that describes five measurable elements – Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishment (PERMA). The PERMA+ Theory of Well Being will be introduced and connect the five components of the model to support social-emotional functioning. The model uses positive psychology interventions that help make life worth living, create wellbeing, and can be adjusted for use with any age and all populations.
