So, this is the case of exponential growth, and because of how the command works, we can calculate how quickly this series grows.

Every tick, another villager is summoned if a villager exists, so on the first tick, there are 2, then 4, then 8, then 16 and so on. The formula for this is 2^x, where x is equal to the amount of ticks that pass.

Within 20 ticks, or one second, there are 2^20 villagers, or ~1.05 million villagers, which will easily cause the game to crash, as from what I can tell, MC will crash after ~2500 to 4000 entities exist, but this depends on the PC. In fact, this will cause the game to crash after 12 ticks.
