For me, growing kale is definitely worth rewarding. It's really good to hear some significant tips and techniques on how to grow kale. I'm sure I will give it a try the soonest. Hope it will help. Goodluck!

seeds make good prizes, or if you were thinking something a little bigger a worm factory or similar product would make a wonderful prize in my opinion.

Curly Blue Dwarf mostly, also Portuguese and another curly variety that I bought as seedlings. I have lots of leaf miners attacking my balcony garden but they seem to leave the kale alone for the most part.

Nope, I use a small Waring dehydrator. I toss the kale with some apple cider, a little walnut and sesame oil and then sprinkle nutritional yeast, sesame and flax seeds, followed by various different spices and a pinch of salt. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! chips--even my cat likes 'em!
