"doesnt leak charge" and "never runs out" obviously can be two WILDLY seperate things! I wonder how many COMPLETE MORONS have bought batteries because the package says "guaranteed for TEN YEARS!" Cause you KNOW some REAL IMBECILES have seriously assumed that meant their flashlight would never need new batteries for ten years...I am betting a lot of these bufoons got really mad as hell when they left their flashlight on and found it Stone dead worthless just hours later...people really can be THAT stupid. So a battery that "doesnt leak charge" GREAT batteries to have on hand! No shelf life/no expiration date! Package rather than bragging " guaranteed for 10 years"will instead read "guaranteed FOREVER" And make no mistake THAT would be AWESOME....cause I mean even if batteries are on super duper sale now you don't want to buy more than you can possibly use before they yeah that technology could mean the batteries literally "never run out"...but of course ONLY so long as you don't EVER USE them...just leave them in the package in the drawer and then unlike old style batteries these new ones won't expire..EVER! .wont leak out or "run out" sitting in storage too long ....but again that has NOTHING at all NOTHING to do with the "amp hour" "life" rating range or how long you can leave flashlight on before the batteries are DEAD...THAT is STILL ALWAYS going to be the case PERIOD no matter HOW long the shelf life gets up Please people don't tell me you actually we're thinking they came up with batteries that never need charging or replacing...PLEASE don't let me know if you are THAT STUPID!
