What I like about Kreia chiding redemption, is that picking the optimistic "Nobody is beyond redemption" comment actually gains influence with her. She may think such concepts are silly, but deep down, she very much likes that notion.

It comes to play during the end game when you tell her you've come to save her and she confess she really wanted to hear those words.

I could listen to Kreia for hours. What I wouldn't give for an audiobook of her recounting a complete history of the Sith...but that will sadly never come to pass now.

It's moments like this that really makes me appreciate Lucas Star Wars. They really wanted to elude how grand and powerful the ancient Force Users were while giving you just enough information to want to know more.
Disney Star Wars feels like it doesn't want to acknowledge anything outside of the mainstream movies, which really makes the galaxy smaller more than anything.

Kinda cool to hear about Ragnos. He shows up in Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy

Has anyone thought about how Dantooine and Korriban are the only planets we get to go to in both Kotor games and that the two are kinda mirror images of each other?

In Kotor, we see both worlds sprawling with people. Jedi, Sith, and civilians. Then Malak destroyed Dantooine and Revan ended up purging Korriban. Skip to Kotor 2, 5 years later and both worlds are in ruins. People have become scavengers. Jedi and Sith have become so much less than what they were.

I think its one of the many awesome parallels in the games that you don’t notice right away.

I still think about that huge black holocron behind the jammed door.

2:08 I love the shade of awe when she speaks about Marka Ragnos. You can tell by her voice alone how great he truly was. The attention to small details is astonishing in this game. Well... In some places.

If there's one thing I learned about KOTOR II and this scene in particular, it's that sometimes the worst evil is the SILENT kind.

All Korriban was at this point and time, was a graveyard of evil, waiting to be reawakened and unleashed on the galaxy in the most horrific way possible.

Never underestimate your enemy. Especially one such as the Sith.

"Redemption is merely a form of spiritual collapse, a fall few recover from."
God this game had writing so far beyond its time. I wish the new SW movies were copying this instead of the original trilogy.

0:56 "If you were to face an ancient sith lord in combat, you would learn that we are as children playing with toys compared to the prowess of the old masters."

Its interesting when Darth Bane as a student of the Brotherhood of Darkness leaves the Academy they created upon the ruins of the old one in hopes of finding something among the Tombs to prove that the ancient Sith had something to offer over the teachings of the Brotherhood. Yet finds nothing but clarity that the Sith have changed and had betrayed the tenants of the Sith Code and the ideas of the individual, freedom and the rule of the strong. I think he would agree with Kreia on Ajunta Pal in particular.

This is just one of many reasons why this game needs a remake, better graphics, a completed storyline, the same VO’s and you would have possibly the best game of all time.

Kreia is not wrong... Some things Vader did should make it impossible to become a forceghost by returning to the light...

One of the best games ever. And no doubt the best conversations and narration. Nothing comes even close. What a masterpiece

This game would have been so much better if it had more time for development. I remember getting this when it came out and you couldn't help but feel it got rushed out the door. It's unfortunate because this game pushed the boundaries of a Star Wars story with some great characters, dialogue.

I Remember when I Played KoTOR the first time 20 years ago. Amazed that Revan got powers so fast. He finished his training in weeks instead of years.
The rediscovery of Rakatan Empire from the Star Maps. Finaly discovering that Malak’s master was I. And 2 years later I played KoTOR II

I think the most interesting aspect of this conversation with kreia is that you can disagree with her here and say no one is beyond saving and her statement disagrees with you but it stills gain influence with her
Deep down she wanted to hear that

The game you see before you is part of the plundered ruins of the ancient Expanded Universe.
Each game, comic and novel was once infused with the history of the old Legends, containing powerful characters with meaningful stories.
However, it wasn’t long before it’s success attracted the greedy eyes of the curious, the fools and the weak. And so it’s intellectual property fell, spilling it’s secrets into the hands of those unable to comprehend or preserve them.
Here, in the New Canon, you can just barely see the Disney story writers crude efforts to recreate the magic of the ancients. The new owners of the franchise sought to profit quickly by copying elements of the Old Canon. I can only imagine what was ruined forever, due to the carelessness of these amateurs.
Now, the New Canon’s success has almost been completely undone by five years of negative feedback, so does SW’s fan community protects it’s secrets.
