Proving the Deity of Christ in The New World Translation

Christians believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, the second Person of the Trinity, but Jehovah's Witnesses believe he is just the Archangel Michael. Many of the verses used to support the Deity of Christ have been altered in their Bible, the New World Translation. However, some verses have remained the same. In this video, we will examine several passages of Scripture that teach the full Divinity of Christ, even in the New World Translation.

As a JW, I always felt so miserable about the suffering of Jesus. I would pray and ask God to apologize to Jesus for me. I'm in absolute tears about the atonement. Thank you, Seth. How beautiful it is! I never knew fully.

I was born in 2000 and raised a Jehovahs Witness. I left the organization in 2020. Since then I’ve been through so much strife and grief in my pursuit of faith. Years of wondering and confusion. Such a weight on my heart for so long.

I finally gave up on trying to find the truth in scripture because after I lost my faith in the Jehovahs Witnesses translation; I didn’t know what to trust.

I’ve prayed for years for God to help show me the way. Finally not 2 weeks ago I prayed incessantly. I’ve always prayed to Jehovah, but I asked this time: “Christ are you him?” “Please show me, have I really been THAT lost this whole time?”

Seth, Christ has used you to save my life, and end my grief. My eyes were opened because of Christ through you. I’m at work listening to this and I leaped into the air and screamed “CHRIST IS LORD”.

Shivers moved through my entire body. I felt it in my bones. Seth thank you, thank you thank you thank you.

I know it might seem random and silly my friend but I am forever in your debt.

I noticed JWs love to tell Christians what we believe the Trinity to be. And when we tell them what we believe and what the Trinity is, they have an automatic OFF switch. They are truly mind controlled!

Scripture teaches that Jesus is fully God and full man . The Watchtower focuses on the humanity of Christ and ignores the Deity of Christ.

In John 20:28 Thomas would have been guilty of blasphemy if he was cussing. Blasphemy was punishable by death in the first century so no way was Thomas misusing God's title.
Also Acts 10:43 Peter is talking about Jesus and ends with this: All the prophets spoke of Him and HIS name for remission of sins. None of the prophets spoke Jesus name so it must mean Jehovah is Jesus.
