I think it would be much simpler at the step sqrt(18 * 338) do the following:

sqrt(18 * 338)
sqrt(18)*sqrt(338)
sqrt(2*9)*sqrt(2 * 169)
3sqrt(2)*13sqrt(2)
39 * sqrt(2)*sqrt(2)
78

SAY WHAAAATT?? JUST AT THE END, THE MOST IMPORTANT PART AND A LOT OF BANNERS START COVERING THE IMAGE!!!

Use 178 = 169 + 9 and 160 = 169 - 9. Square each of these, and use a little arithmetic to get 178**2 - 160**2 = 4*169*9 which are all squares. Take square root to get 2*13*3 = 78

The end solution is being hidden by the publicity for similar problems.

The end is covered by several banners. We Cannot watch the final answer.

18 x 338 = 9 x 2 x 338 = (3 x 3) x 2 x (2 x 169) = (3 x 3) x (2 x 2) x 169 = (3 x 3) x (2 x 2) x (13 x 13)

Solve Square Root Problem: √(178^2 – 160^2) = ?
178^2 – 160^2 = (178 – 160)(178 + 160) = (18)(338) = [(2)(3^2)][(2)(13^2)] = [(6)(13)]^2
√(178^2 – 160^2) = √{[(6)(13)]^2} = √(78^2) = 78

Difference of squares. √18 x √338 = 3√2 x 13√2 = 3 x 2 x 13 = 78

Did this bad boy in my head.

1– 170^2 = 28, 900
2– 170 x 8 twice = 2720
3– 8*2 = 64

28900
2820
84

31, 684

4– 160^2 = 25, 600

5– 31, 684 - 25, 600 = 6084

6– Eliminate last two digits

7– Find nearest square below the remaining number (60)

8– Nearest square is 49

9– Square root of 49 = 7

10–Multiply answer by next highest number

11- 7 x 8 = 56

12– 60>56

13– Since the difference between 31, 684 and 25, 600 ends in 4, the last digit in the root should be either 2 or 8

14– Since 60>56, the last digit should be 8

15– Answer is 78

Took me a lot less time to do this in my head than it did to type it out. 😂

Nah. 18x338=36x169. square root is 6x13=78.

sqrt((178-160)(178+160))
sqrt((18)(338))
sqrt((9)(676))
3×26
78

Root[ (178 + 160)(178 - 160)] -> (338)(18)
3380 + 676 + 676 + 676 +676 = 3380 +2704 = 6084.
Edit: This needs to be Rooted?! Fuck.
