He sings in an insane 6 octaves, and can do anything from rapping, beatboxing, scatting, clean AND unclean (distorted) singing, and I've even heard him do stuff like opera and obscure techniques like throat singing.

"He's singing in three or four voices!" HA! You have NO IDEA! I've owned this album since day one. This song has been on my workout playlist for years. I have never once read the lyrics. Never once knew what the hell he was singing other than the chorus. This was both entertaining and enlightening. Guess I should have read my CD liner notes, lol.

Mike Patton is the Vocalist of Faith No More, there are 5 musicians in total. Mikes vocals are versatile, original, powerful and chameleonic but that only scratches the surface.

A great song to listen to is Land of Sunshine as that really showcases his operatic and classical training it also sets the mood for the whole Angel Dust album.

I always love it when someone discovers this band/singer/song/album for the first time. Angel Dust is one of the most mature rock albums that has ever existed. The sound of musicians at their creative peak.
