21:30 I personally just couldn't. I saw what these MLMs did to my wife, how they purposefully placed a wedge between my wife and I...because I wasn't supportive of her "biz". And finding the antiMLM folks, hearing their stories...they are ALL they same, despite them all being different MLMs.
I just couldn't purchase from an MLM that decides to suddenly go affiliate...just because the tippy top pockets are seeing flies.
I won't hate on people who do purchase from those companies when they decide to go to affiliate, but...I just couldn't. I'll never not be angry when I see an MLM product.

I used to sell Tupperware on the side as a single mom trying to make ends meet. I made a little money and collected a bunch of Tupperware that I still use 25 years later. But it wasn’t worth the time away from my kids. I hated the rallies. I could have made more at McDonald's. I quit in less than a year.

Until very recently, I was oblivious to Tupperware being an MLM. Friends of my mother and a couple of aunts were Tupperware distributors. Everyone had Tupperware in their kitchens.

If Tupperware’s been around for 70 years and their opportunity fails for most participants, that says nothing good for newer MLMs which also have abysmal numbers.

Fun fact.. In the movie Napoleon Dynomite, theres a scene where Kip is showing how durable the plastic is is by driving over it. It wasn't supposed to break like it did but they kept it in the movie because it was funnier then it not breaking. I think of that scene anytime I think of Tupperware.

Tupperware is huge! My grandma hosted parties in the 70's in Sweden. 🇸🇪 I got gifted Tupperware and sold it in 2018-2020. I did not know it was an MLM until I found anti-MLM this spring

In India people outside Tupperware also love the company, its like the cult exapnding its tentacles across the population. Many aunties love giving and recieving tupperware so there are probably a lot of sales. Tupperware is also seen as superior to really nice Indian brands because its from the US. Ive tried so many times to explain to my family but they dont listen, so I cant wait for it to shut down.

Yours and plantum Chelsea's live inspired/encouraged me to start making content. If I wasn't working full time and going to college, I'd have more time and energy to make more content. It's sad that I stopped going to college in 2020 after joining LeVel to focus on my "business." Now I'll have my associates of arts degree in less than 6 months 🥳 although I'd already have it if I hadnt taken a break from college to pursue the unrealistic and unattainable dream.

I'm an older boomer. When i started consuming antiMLM content and came to the shocking realization that Tupperware was MLM, i was pretty sure that somehow, being so iconic, they would maybe not be as predatory as the rest. So this just sickens me.

I still have my dad’s Tupperware from the 70s he loved it cause he ate a lot of leftovers n stuff so I have a huge stack of it I still use.

Also it’s odd it’s still going as a mlm cause you can buy it at Walmart and off Amazon and it’s actual Tupperware?

Curious peoples opinions in buying it that way?

My friend is about 20 years older than me. She is a church friend who moved to Florida. She had a travel trailer with $60, 000 dollars in it. It got blown to somewhere in the ocean. Thank God She had meticulous recipts and bookkeeping she was panicking when she heard about the chapter 11. She was heartbroken. She made money because she was 40 years in and had a huge downline.She would have never made that moneyà back if it would have closed down andà she had to clearance inventory.
