I totally agree on using hand tools rather than power tools most of the time. Very quiet and therapeutic. If I was a business scrapper, different thing.

I took apart a big rectangular cooker and it was full of dusty insulation and fiberglass like stuff. No bueno. The second one went directly to the shred pile. As always, I enjoyed the video and learned that not all slow cookers are full of asbestos' evil cousins.

See a lot of brass candle holders at estate and garage sales. I know these are valuable, but don't want to over pay. What is brass like that worth in US? Any thoughts or ideas about doing this?

I always hear appliance wire is considered low grade due to the thickness of the insulation to copper ratio even though it is single insulated. Is this true?

Can I hire you to help me sort what I have? I have the majority sorted but I am not sure about certain items.

Those little button switches. just take them off, put them in a bag. You may be able to sell them online by kg. But that can be another hassle. Or maybe donate them to another YouTuber like omegageek64. He does a lot of e-waste refining.
