Traveling in Europe is about to change forever! Find out what you need to know about the Schengen visa and ETIAS now and how these changes are going to change the way you can travel to Europe!

Update from ETIAS.com: "The push back of the ETIAS launch means eligible travellers will not need to obtain an ETIAS until 2024. The EU previously stated their intention to launch the system in November 2023, yet this was not the date it was meant to be mandatory for travellers. Travellers were intended to be able to apply for ETIAS between May 2023 and November 2023, yet ETIAS approval was to be required from November 2023. However. with the recent update, it confirms ETIAS will be required starting sometime in 2024 and not in 2023."

this is all good, but border guards OFTEN DO NOT KNOW THE LAW, found that out when we left Spain, but stayed in Croatia and Montenegro for two months, but the guard thought it was any EU country, she said she would only warn us, and we thought best to not push it and make her mad. We travel full-time internationally and work hard to keep up with law changes. Good video.

I didn't know that's why it was called Schengen Zone. I also didn't know that Steveo was electrocuted. Very educational video. Thank-you

There are Bilateral Agreements between USA and several European countries that allows you to stay longer than 90 days in that specific country. For example : you spent 90 days in the Schengen zone, you left to UK, next day you can fly to Denmark and get 90 days in Denmark regardless of your stay in Schengen prior entry

Irish citizens will not need to use the ETIAS system to travel to participating countries. The same rules around free movement within the EU/EEA will still apply. To note, as is currently the case for the Schengen area, an Irish citizen will still need to travel using a valid passport and will go through border control on arrival in one of these countries. Ireland is a member of the EU/EEA

Kind Regards,

Consular Directorate

This is confirmed by Department of Foreign Affairs Ireland

I plan to travel to Germany on August 25 2023. I am from the United States Of America. Do I need to apply for the visa before I travel or will I still be good without the visa? Please respond as it would really help a lot 🙏🏻

Hello, I intend to go at the end of July this year with my brother to carry out the administrative recognition process for Italian citizenship, but I am uncertain about my immigration situation. On my first trip to Europe, in July 2023, I returned to Brazil in December 2023, exceeding the legal limit by 2 months due to the birth of my cousin's son, who needed my assistance in Portugal. Entry and exit registrations were made in Madrid, Spain, without any warning.
Can you tell me if I will have any problems with immigration from Italy, even after completing 180 days outside the Schengen area? Thanks!

Holding up the thumb last when counting, therefore not using the thumb to show the number three, is not universally "human". It's American, for instance. Stevo showed the number three (using his thumb) European-style 🙂
