30 years ago, my 4 month old almost died to RSV. We were lucky. I’m so glad that there are new tools that can prevent this nightmare for others.

Drs Racaniello and Griffin: 1. Attempting to post a comment on the show-notes page results in a reCAPTCHA verification fail, with seemingly no way to actually perform a reCAPTCHA test. 2. I'd appreciate a link to the "weighted estimates in HHS Region 2" doc with the graph shown at about 8:00 in the video. Dr Griffin mentions leaving a link, but it doesn't seem to be there on the show notes page. Thanks.

There is a definite Covid uptick in Columbus, Oh. and there is an awareness to ask the Dr. about Paxlovid. Frankly you do not need to ask because it is the plan of care document.Everyone I know seems to be aware of the criteria for Paxlovid. People I know feel so much better 24 hours later after taking it. Drs are not resistant to prescribe it
If the patient meets the criteria.

I have gotten a heavy dose of respiratory infections this year probably due to inhaling infectious microbes during school meetings. We need to keep sick people away from public places because these waves of diseases are out pacing vaccines.

Have they said anything about people with long covid and how they are handling the vaccines? Anecdotally I've heard of long haulers getting better but also some getting worse from taking a booster after already having long covid

Those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it. The concept definitely applies to pandemics. 😏💙🇺🇸🕊

We are having an uptick in Covid hospitalizations here in north central Texas. I am sorry to see many outpatient doctors and midlevels are still prescribing steroids and Azithromycin. I’m also seeing Doxycycline and my own (former) PCP is still prescribing hydroxychloroquine. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Actually, some people still mask. I mask when I go out. I have a slight immunocompromised condition ( decreased IGG-G production). Also, I live in the very center of mask denial- the Southeast, but when ever I go out I see people wearing masks still. Not many, my wife doesn't mask for example - however about 3 or 4% of the people are still wearing masks and I find that percentage is highly comprised of African American males over 40. It is interesting because masking became a badge of being a 'weak minded liberal Democrat' whereas strong "conservatives' did not mask (what nonsense over a non-partisan public health issue). I plan on continuing to mask, because it isn't over till the Fat-Covid virus sings and I have not heard that sweet deep song yet.

Hi Doctor, congrats for your channel. I’m a nurse, and I find quit interesting in the minute 14:31 the findings about vaccinated pregnant women data, but don’t mention those women to had contracted Covid, so at this point I wonder how it is possible that less miscarriage, heavier and at term babies are born within vaccinated women and what is the relationship with the vaccination status. It don’t make any sense.

I was told Friday morning I had come into contact with a person who tested positive to Covid. I was around this person Thursday afternoon. What is the protocol today - do I isolate and for how long? And yes, I unfortunately pick my nose. I know it's wrong. I have allergies and my nose drips a lot.

I've read that the 'Hitler' moustache was adopted due to troops having to wear gas masks in WWI in which he was exposed to gas attacks.

We see how overuse of antibiotics ties in with the need for mRNA vaccines. Overuse of antibiotics can decrease ribosome count.
