How to fix duplicated deposits in QuickBooks

I've been getting asked about how to fix mistakes lately, which got me thinking... and I've decided to put together a special workshop.

Hi, I just tried reconciling the credit card for the first time, and I'm trying to understand how it works. I didn’t save the result and entered an end balance for a specific date, starting with a beginning balance of $0. Before doing that, all matched transactions in the credit card register had a √ symbol next to them.
Now, all those symbols have disappeared. What can I do to make the √ symbols display again? Thanks for your help!

What if you reconciled the wrong account? I accidentally reconciled my checking account instead of my credit card?!!! 😢
