pushing esg on your audience is a bad look. There are better metrics for responsible investing. ESG does not accurately measure "social responsibility" at all and purely exists to make people feel a morally superiority using these funds.

It's the consumer's choice to invest in a company based on their political agenda at the expense of their returns. It's the consumer's choice who they invest in. Why the hell is Congress trying to legislate about that?

I don't think you should be pushing ESG. The metrics aren't great, there's oil-adjacent companies that are somehow on that list. I don't have concerns about companies being "woke" given that the term was reframed by racists for political purposes, so that's not where this is coming from.
