So one of the coolest things about automatic transmissions with high stall speed converters, is you can have your shop add in a manual lockup solenoid (usually) so you can flip a switch on your dash and that 3600rpm stall "hang" goes away.

Getting a stage III GPI VVT cam installed along with a Circle D 3600 stall, can't wait. 4-6 weeks delivery time

Used Wallace racing calculator for HP with ET and curb weight. A GT is around 3700lbs, I guess that you weight 180-200lbs maybe more. Let's say 3900lbs. So your HP computed from the Wallace Racing Calculator from your vehicle ET is 633.23 rear wheel HP and 703.59 flywheel HP.
Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 0.27 rear wheel HP and 0.30 flywheel HP. So the 646HP in this video seems to be pretty accurate.

I have a 2017 grand sport. I'm nervous and excited to get it back. It has an LT4 supercharger conversion kit with the upgraded fueling and cooling, forged internals, stage 1 cam, 4 cylinder delete kit, cold air intake, weapon X pully, long tube headers, high flow cats, x-pipe, and tune. 8 speed auto is crap. Having issues and just took it in to get a catch can, Circle D torque converter with 3000 stall, carbon fiber drive shaft with the rubber couplings deleted, trans flush, and a TCM tune. I expect it to be way different. I'm hoping the 3k stall wont bother me.

It's not bad if you have a low gear ratio. I did a 4000 stall but had 4.10 gears and a th350 trans.

I’ve got a 17 f150 5.0 screw with a stage 2 p1x that I dail. I’m just running the stock tune but in the process upgrading headers, fuel system etc then full tune. It’s definitely fun now running just 6 psi I can’t wait to get it dialed in. Any tips you’ve got for the pro charged coyote daily I’d appreciate em! Thank you for sharing!

After watching this video I think my 2017 Mustang has a stall converter I bought it used a full both on car. In drive like your video it needs more rpm before it shifts up and kind of hangs there. Have a VMP tune I'm not sure I tune would caused this

How much of a tune revision did you need to do? Having a 3500 suncoast installed in my 2018 f150. Great video!

a 3600 stall converter is definitely possible however thats if it is tight under stall.

I tried the 3400 stall and hated it because of the high revs all the time. I settled on a 2400 for a 1986 5.0 and 3 speed built up C-4

I was going to install a TSP BFD monster chop on my rt challenger with a 3600 stall. So is it suitable for daily driving in your opinion

So I have a 16 Vortech supercharger. I'm putting 639 to the wheels. I have a pbh transmission but didn't upgrade converter and I may have blew my torque my guess anyway. I'm looking at a circle D converter but I mostly roll race mine, what's your suggestion for a stall? I was thinking 2800 to 3200. And when you car broke did it make a whining noise afterwards, no reverse?
