The ms250 was my first saw I really bought for myself. Those saws have alot of heart. They are workers.

First journey through milling for me was with my 445 Husqvarna. Everyone said it couldn't be done and I still have the first ash slab to prove it 😊 Good Luck and happy milling!

You can cut lumber by hand, too. Once you've done that anything north of the Ryobi Pocket saw is AMAZING! lol
It looks like you got yourself some nice, straight boards with a minimum of fuss. What more could a fella hope for, eh?
"Get it done" gets it done. Saying, "Oh, that won't work - it's not big enough" is a politician's specilty, not a workin' man's.
Looks PERFECT to me, Doug! 💪🏁👍

Not for long. My biggest saw is 80 cc’s and it struggles on the bigger stuff. 25” oak log, 12 feet long and the Alaskan mill is a tougher job that pulling off the skins for a post.

I like Stihl but for saws I go with Husqvarna

If you're going to use a saw to rough cut I'd mix my oil a little heavy to protect your saw. I cut some Maple about that size with an 044 and it worked fine. Keep your chain sharp and take your time.

You need to cut with the new dual Barry 20” Milwaukee chain saw

My 250 nearly burned up, it gets hot and won’t start. No more Sthils for me.
Team Husqvarna.
What was that plate you have there?
