Majority of the NASCAR Drivers today still cry wolf about lack of respect, but they still take each other out.

Great guest Dale and Mike. Congrat's to the Blaney family, Penske, and Ford for that exciting Coke 600 win. After a long drought, now you're in the playoffs. I'm sure that takes stress off.

Ryan is my current driver, Carl and Bill were before him. So this week at st louis Austin cries he got turned. He turned Ryan at Daytona clearly to gain the lead several years ago. Suffers from memory loss.

The car is the main reason why they race each other so hard in my opinion it’s way to tough. 💪🏼

So very happy to see Ryan Blaney back in the winners circle! IMHO Ryan Blaney is the nicest guy in NASCAR and he’s a very talented driver…….

There’s several reasons for this.

1. Safety. Safety innovations have made it so that drivers don’t fear when someone crashes. Drivers don’t fear someone they wreck getting hurt.

2. Cars are disposable. No longer are the days where there’s only a few cars a team owns. Even the lower funded ones. Drivers know they’ve got other cars and just don’t care what the consequences of them are.

3. The drivers themselves aren’t the way they used to be. Because of money and because of everything in relation to the profession, we’ve been left with a sport that pushes out perfectly capable drivers in favor of young guys. Kyle Busch is about to be the longest tenured driver in cup.

I was so happy to see Blaney win, I’ve been a fan of his from the beginning. He just reminds me of the good old boys. Yes I know he’s young but it’s how I see him.
As for the Chase and Denny issue Denny is always running guys up the track or just wrecking them completely. I watched the race and the reruns and I truly don’t think Chase did that intentionally. But the big cry baby Denny 😭😭

I love how honest Blaney is and I don’t remember a time he has spun someone. Great observations on what’s about to happen though. It also makes him fun to have in the booth. I think he knew how guilty Chase was, but didn’t want to call out a friend. Was still honest enough to compare it to Bubba & Larson and basically saying Chase had just had enough though. Just a level headed guy and why he will be the only guy I cheer for when Harvick’s done.

Ryan is such a well spoken interview. A good personality and representative of Nascar. And he's not even my driver.

Why can’t we flash back to 2005 where people would literally slow down on the straightaway or wave their hand out the window to let someone pass? That was personally my favorite era of racing. I felt like the era of clean racing was over when Brad Keselowski made that move on Jeff Gordon at Texas in 2014. Each year clean racing has gone away more and more. Now with more young drivers than ever before in the cup series, the lack of respect is completely gone.

That Black 3 Car knew how to get everyone's respect on and off the track

Dale, I'm 74 years old and a lifelong racing fan. Of course a big part of that has been watching NASCAR evolve. I will watch anything and everything race, cars, boats, planes roaches, and even motorcycles. But I am rapidly tiring of the drama that now surrounds NASCAR racing way too much. There are some good races and good, heartwarming story lines but the drama every week reminds me of a damn soap opera. The sport is to contrived, too controlled by NASCAR.
Sponsors, owners, and drivers should have a much bigger say in how the sport is administered. I suggest if NASCAR let the "big three" have a
( theoretical) 60% share in rules, how cars are built, etc., and NASCAR have a 40% supportive, and administrative role in the sport, ... things would get better. Put racing back into the hands of racers.

Yes ! Love Blaney . (my driver)Ya know who never gives him respect is his 2 teammates. Holy cow they are both always trying to wreck or drive right thru us . I was glad that the last 2 weeks we were way faster than Logano, so we could drive away .
