October 10, 2022. Cole Custer & Stewart Haas were penalized 50 driver points, 50 owner points & $100, 000 for manipulating the outcome of a race. The #1, #3 & #23 team should get at least that much, if not more. They made a total joke of Nascar racing. Disgusting!

I still remember a 23 year old Dave Blaney came out west and was running a black #2 sprint car at Manzanita for Gary Stanton. He could really stand on the gas. Now I'm watching his son who is probably 30 something on the biggest stage in American motor sports. Brings me a whiff of nostalgia.

Followed Dave since he was a Ohio Driver ! I naturally started following Ryan because of same . Even from the beginning I called him the new Mark Martin also my all time driver.
From the beginning Ryan had a knack for saving cars from sure disaster and getting results with long run cars ?
This year was a wake up call for being too comfortable cruising around in positions 10 - 15 early in races?
