Thierry Henry is, in my humble opinion, the greatest player in Premier League history. An insanely versatile striker that popped up everywhere, scored and assisted at will.

Today, we look back at his incredible career.

Thierry Henry had created a generation of hardcore Arsenal Fans who have stood by the club even in their most awful time. He was a great no ifs and buts about it. He is definitely missed.

I was too young to really understand how amazing he truly was during his Arsenal days. When he transferred to Barça I was old enough to understand the tactical side of football. But it was during his time at NYRB my local team where I really got to understand how amazing he was. I was 13-14 when he transferred to NY and he absolutely destroyed everyone. He was TOO good for MLS and he wasn’t in his prime. I couldn’t believe that the man who destroyed England was here playing for my local team. And with euro players picking LA and Miami nowadays, it has made me appreciate that Henry chose us. His love for NYC is genuine and I love that.

I am german and in my mid 30s now. I played football growing up and I remember the time when close to everyone had those Nike gloves because Henry wore them. They didnt warm your hands very much and where soaking wet after one tackle on a rainy day. But close to everyone had them. That alone is impact he had on us in a forgein coutry even before most of us could speak english. And thats in a pre Internet Marketing era. To me Henry is one of the best Forwards to ever play the game.

Chelsea fan since 1995 here. Henry is easily the greatest ever Premier League player. Nobody else brought fear like him. I've seen Chelsea play against Messi and C.Ronaldo, but they never gave me that nervous feeling that Henry did.

Ill remember his return to arsenal for the rest of my life. I was in the company of a lovely young lady performing some adult exercise routines. I had heard Henry come on the pitch and I was trying to get my workout done super quick because I wanted to see him in action and mid pump I heard that commentary and I push the young lady aside and watch the replay. She wasnt happy but it was worth it to see the legend come back and do the business.

Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho are by far my favorite living football legends, they are the reason I fell in love with football in the first place, they are part of my childhood... Henry should have won at least one or two ballon d'or in the 2003 and 2004 seasons, he was so unique and underrated back then, he was almost unstoppable and genuinely a very good all-rounder authentic player. ☯️

Kids of today who can only appreciate players through stats and awards will never understand this man's greatness. Had some people's GOAT defenders looking like fools week in, week out, without looking like he was breaking a sweat!

His ability to find that exact space and timing to run between the right centreback and rightback and be through on goal was impeccable. I know the second he'd get there, he'd score. Henry is the reason I even started using the finesse button on FIFA because he had literally carved out the blueprint on how to beat the goalkeeper one on one. Aim at the far post and curl it in.

coming from a 'not the most' football-loving country, Beckham made me fall in love with football. But it was Henry in his iconic "O2" jersey that made me watch EPL again and again.

P.S. understandably, I am a Man Utd fan to this day.

As a Man United fan, I loathe anything having to do with the Gunners but Thierry Henry is without question my favorite player of all time. He transcends allegiance. Great video!!

PS a video about Beckham’s time at Old Trafford 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

He was the best total footballer. Dribbles, passing, shooting, heading, scoring, tricks and skills, leader, work rate, footballing brain, pace, stamina, physical presence..

He had it all.
