Since they advertise the radio at 20 watts....can you adjust the power output higher to get a full 5 watt signal on every band?

Great video! Thanks for sharing. As a future owner I’m enjoying this series of videos!

The maximum supply voltage for this rig is 18V. You're not going to get 10W with 13.8V supply.

Isn't the allowable power supply range from around 9V to 16+V? I imagine running it at 16V would bring it up to nearly the spec. (assuming you are at 13V)

Tiny radio but too expensive for what it is and its mainly low power levels... unless you have money to burn like Steve!😆💰🔥

I smell a does it FT8 video. I noticed some of those bands were already tuned there 😎

I like how big that SWR meter display is . Very interesting how different each band is. I like how much detail your tests have Steve.

Yet another radio, and a nice one… I promised my self two radios ago, I’d quit. I’m out of control, I need an intervention! Thanks for that!

Maybe I miss something, but being at 50% of the rated power for all but two bands doesn't seem good. 5 watts is fine if you are expecting five watts.but given a differentiator on the 4C was its 10 watts, this would really seem to knock it down in value compared to other QRP radios.

I'm confused, you say "Pretty good results" when the radio is rated to 10w and you didn't get the 10w even once! that's horrible results my friend hahaha. Came to this video after buy the CR model that is rated to 20 watts and I dont get more than 10w while using a dummy load. So this radios pretty much give half of what they are rated for. Usually radios don't give exactly what they claim but Cmon HALF? nahh, that's plane wrong.
