My favorite and most chilling Jack McCoy moment is the episode where he was grilling the doctor that was harvesting organs, and the patient wasn’t really dead, about why, if the patient was completely dead, he had to give her pain meds and Jack said it was because “so she wouldn’t wake up screaming from the table because you were cutting her heart out”. I get chills just thinking about that scene.

Shades of Adam Schiff here! He and Jack used to go toe to toe like this quite often. (Young) Jack was just always *SO* sure he was right, and Schiff never hesitated to take him down a peg or two!

I feel like Jack McCoy is one of my elderly neighbors that looked out for me when I was a kid.

I love Jack scene on season 20 the last episode when he encountered that teacher who didn't want to give the name and threatened the attorney. Brilliant performance
