Interesting, so what are your rules in this system to get out. Is it max loss? Do you size your position to take max loss? Anything can and will happen. While I understand your point about trusting the system, you also have to have rules. What are your rules for exit? Or should we just "buy" the system and find out.

Credit spreads are such a great tool. Especially when they are based on a system that has been researched at length! Nothing feels better than reaching that expiration day in a good position :)
It definitely can be scary to see spread values rise when they're open.
Another way to remember to stay calm with open positions that are close, but still OTM, are to clearly stay mindful of how theta impacts the trade. Seeing action on the screen gets people tense, but sometimes, just waiting a few more hours, or another day, will see that value get slashed. There is no question that the hardest thing is staying stoic and in a zen state of mind to close the position effectively.

Seth you can not really expect amateur traders who take the lazy way out and pay for signals to have the emotional wherewithal or trading intelligence to hold through what appears to be a loss can you? Maybe I guess. From what I've experienced most will bail because they handle they idea of losing their "hard earned money"
Most are taught all their lives to be emotionally attached to their money afterall.
Strong emotions make humans irrational creatures without them even realizing it most of the time.
