NEWSLETTER:

This is for future ‘live’ meetings with me where you can ask me questions directly.

WHO AM I:
My name is Charlie and I am disabled. I live with chronic illness, I have a severe form of Psoriatic Arthritis and its crap! I am in pain all the time and always battling fatigue. BUT, I will not let it win. I love to learn and to laugh (even though it hurts my arthritic rib cage LOL). You will often see Ollie (she) my black Labrador. She is currently my trainee assistance dog! We are together, literally ALL the time.

As there are a number of awful people who target us - the vulnerable - here is a link to my personal LinkedIn account. You can literally see the past 25+yrs of my career, people who have recommended me (as a Logistician as Disability Specialist is very new for me).

The most important bit: I would like to thank the support network I have around me and YOU for watching this channel.

Please know, I would love to reply to all of your comments but I cannot reply AND film new videos, write the weekly newsletter and work with clients. If I could, I really would reply to you all.

HELPFUL PRODUCTS FOR DISABLED PEOPLE (I only recommend what I know is good):
-Perch chair - I could not find the right one on Amazon, it MUST have:
- arms with grips
- tilted seat so easy to stand from
- comfy seat
- adjustable height
-Handle - I am testing this before I link it in case its crap

PS: If you order using these links I get a teeny tiny profit

If you would like to write to me here is my address:

Thank you so much for reading all of this

I am so greatful for people like you.
I never thought that being chronically ill with a health condition would mean that u have to constantly prove that ur ill to literally everyone all of the time whether professional or personal and all of these new benefit changes and plans have frightened the life out of me!.
Being chronically ill or disabled is like living on a knife edge but ur videos have been helping me 😢
Its extra difficult if u dont have a mum or dad who can help u.
This really is a stressful time for everyone and its horrendous 😞

Thank you so much Charlie!
Thanks to you, I was awarded pip only 9 days after my phone assessment. Thank you so much!

Disabled people claiming the benefits they're entitled to, are not the reason why the economy is in a state, despite what former Tory MP and Times Columnist Matthew Parris may try to argue.

You are a very lovely lady and trying to help people. I would just like to say thank you very much for all your hard work. I’ve only been on here twice and I wish I’d known a few years ago. 🇬🇧🙏🏼🇬🇧😇

Should have watched this and the other videos before I applied. Had a telephone assessment. I found it hard to get through without crying. Not because of the assessor, but it was the realisation of how physically disabled I've become. I also cried when I filled out the form. I cried when I went through my answers with my wife the next day. I am a 6ft 54 year old man who should not be crying for what seems like no reason. I didn't want to apply for PIP but was talked into it by others around me, some of whom have chronic conditions and claim PIP themselves. I don't want to be a burden to anyone.

Found your previous video - particularly on careful use of terminology-extremely helpful when it came to our final (and successful) tribunal hearing! Thank you for all your help to people especially when you feel as if the DWP dig their heels in and deny claims with no logic to their decisions as though they have quotas to meet regarding refusing claims. Thank goodness for independent minded tribunal judges and panel members who can see right through this to achieve a just and fair result

I have helped several people that I know with their PIP (and ESA) assessments, I still find the whole thing hugely stressful but have gained the PIP they needed at either MR or Tribunal stage, none of them got me involved before except my Husband, and the assessors blatantly lied about everything. Although after a complaint was put in even before his MR they suddenly awarded higher rate of daily living and lower of mobility, both were approved at higher rate on MR. So I think I can fill in the paperwork and forms etc but I just hate doing them, each of them has taken me many hours and I am tired of having to fight when it’s for people who absolutely are entitled to the benefits they now get. I don’t have the amount of energy to do this I need and it’s people I know who are totally desperate..

Asking for a friend, who has Fibromyalgia, multiple symptoms...fatigue of course, feeling like every nerve ending is on fire whike outwardly looking normal. I believe that he's entitled to PIP, he's tried once and been knocked back and seems to be leaving think that it's worth making another PIP claim (past time for MR) .... I believe that he's entitled to some help ... I would say... I Can't believe that he got neither component ... except that I'm going to my second MR in 4 years atm and I did have a lifetime award for DLA 🤷‍♀️ they don't play fair and ppl need someone to help explain the process, as Charlie is 😅 ....thanks

I did the points thing. I scored 10 points. I got 8 for the face to face communication section and another 2 points for making financial plans. I am currently on the start up program for universal credit.

Thank you, you’ve given me hope, I’m struggling with PTSD after a significant house fire where I lost everything including my memory, I had a wonderful job which I adored but haven’t been able to return to yet

Hiya, you helped me through your video advice, with Healthier & Wealthier/CAB and my Social Presciber. So you helped me significantly! I won my claim by myself with the advice from those sources. Thank you for your part in the advice!!! Not sure how much or points etc as only just won my claim! Letter coming within the fortnight. First backdated payment in few days. Its very bad that we have to say we Won our claim!!! There needs to be a change!
