When Invincible Choked the hell out of Conquest, He wasn't Dying due to lack of air, instead he had low blood circulation in his brain

They need air, but they also have the ability to move and even fight in space without air. It makes more sense if they die when they are being suffocated by someone and the blood flow in their veins is cut off and they are tempted to die.

Viltrumites need air to breathe! They can stay in space by simply holding their breath lol. This was shown when mark first flew in the animated series

They need air but have large lung capacity so they can hold their breath longer they can go days if not weeks holding their breath he also forgot to mention if their heart gets destroyed they also die since they can’t heal their hearts unlike other parts of their body I can’t remember how conquest lost his arm though

Viltrumites can hold their breath for weeks but the reason why Conquest die when he got choked is because of science or biology (idk im not good at studies)
