It just has a theme of realism. Just think about the bizarre flight paths of bullets and the indestructible armor that never wears down, no matter how many times you shoot the same spot. Or the engine, track, and barrel repairs that take seconds, all while the crew never even leaves the tank (not to mention where they’re storing all those spare parts).
