When I first heard this, couldn’t believe my ears..I immediately got emotional..

Ada and Leon have one of the most memorable themes..

I won’t lie, when I heard this music I nearly cried happy tears. Really took me back to my childhood playing the older games and seeing them remade with modern controls, graphics, gameplay, and reworked stories really made me happy to be alive to see these classics remade! 🥹

Thats why Re2/Leon will be always my favorite one
Such a memorable music/moment between Leon and Ada.
Chris and the other characters don't have a specific theme unlike Leon and Ada, such strong connexion

I think I definitely prefer their tension on the remake’s go around. He does feel something for her, and she is definitely protective of him. However, Leon can’t ignore the fact that she works for the highest bidder which will 9/10 times put her on the opposing side in terms of their goals.

He doesn’t just write it off as Ada being Ada and thus part of their dynamic. It’s a roadblock between them, one that he won’t allow himself to compromise because at the end of the day, she’s recovering biological weapons, and they will end up in the wrong hands no matter what.

As much as Ada has a moral code, she does work for unscrupulous individuals and is secretive to boot. Trusting her is easy for us, being the audience, as we know she’s often working on the good side. For Leon, it’s not that simple.

This theme encapsulated the tragedy of him ‘losing’ her in the original. It does just as much, if not better, in encapsulating a love that can never bloom in the remake. If they should ever re-do 6, I will be most interested to see how they portray this dynamic.

Love it! Though I must say it broke my 💔 when I saw Ada's saddened/bitter face when she turned around and left after Leon had said they're going separate ways from now on - and that tune came on. She helped him out many times throughout the game and was speaking/thinking kindly of him - just as if she wanted to make up for her betrayal in RE2 - and eventually got rejected. Felt so sorry for her 😣

It's obvious that Capcom wants to give Ada and Leon closure in a (possible?) RE6 Remake, given how much more organic and human the characters behave. Here, in RE4 Remake, they act like actual adults, especially Leon. The disappointment in Ada's face when he rejects her ride says it all.
