After number of tutorials I found that every person has its own way of retrieving data from Firestore. There is no way of avoiding streams except using Future maybe.
But my personal favorite is to use the Provider package using StreamProvider is just perfect and simple. TheNetNinja did a great tutorial BTW.

Anther great tutorial! Please consider making a tutorial on End 2 end encryption of firetore data. It is very important for us in Europe to encrypt the collected data based on the EU law. Also for small small companies like us, using expensive apis lie Virgil is a not affordable approach. All the best from greece

Can i ask you one think that i am newbie in flutter. As i know android programing with java and xcode for ios is it necessary to learn this new one. Its my doubt if i am unaware of this framework it may challenge me in future like there may not be android studio version from google in future. The new tasks I submit in the app are not being added to firestore, though they . Is there any reason you can think of why this is happening? If I add a task using firestore, it does show up on my main screen though. Thanks in advance! I am new to flutter.
