How to take apart Epson ink-jet printer XP 2100

Disassembly ad Reassembly Epson XP-2100 XP-2200 and similar Epson XP printers. How to remove the Main Board, Power Supply, Pick-Up Roller, Print-Head, Main Motor, Encoder Strip, Waste Ink Pads, Scanner Unit, Paper Feed Roller, Ink Sensor, Main Motor, Paper Feed Roller, Scanner Unit.
You can use these instructions for several Epson inkjet printer models.
Main board 6:51

Note that the reassembly of the printer could be difficult so remove as few parts as possible.
If you need to remove the waste ink pads, the pick-up roller or the print-head you don’t need to disassembly the whole printer. Same if you want to remove the main board, it’s useless to remove the waste ink pads or disassembly all the scanner unit.

Wow! Thank you for showing how to disassemble the epson printer. Like you said, when you pull the small upper cable out of the printing unit, it is difficult to reassemble. Unfortunately I've unplugged that cable and would like to see your trick to re-plug that cable! Can you give me some directions on how to do that?
(Yeah, after a holliday I accidentically disconnected one cable too much, in order to detatch the print-head for rigorous cleaning)

Hello, this is a great demonstrating video. But I still have a problem when I reassemble it. How to properly install back the thinly metal stick which is located at the left side and need pass through a small hole to reach the photosensor.

Thank you for this excellent video. It helped me to take my printer apart and clean the feeder roller.

I have an XP 323. The roller feeder is working. The paper feeds into the printer a few centimeters, then jams. When I take the paper out of the printer the mark on the paper indicates that it is getting caught on the far right white lever. But there is nothing in the way. Do you have any idea what the problem may be?

I have an Epson 2710 domestic ink jet printer. It has worked perfectly for 2 years. The a message appeared on my Mac to say it needed a service. I replaced the ink waste tank with a new one and topped up all my inks. Now the printer will not print. I can not get rid of the 'service required' message. I think the printer needs re setting but I can't find a way to do this. My printer is connected directly to My Mac.

Salve scusi il disturbo. Ho visto i suoi video. Abbiamo un problema con la stampante, abbiamo ricaricato i colori e fatto pulizia testine e tutto, (non usiamo inchiostri originali) Abbiamo una Epson Stylus Office BX305F. Spesso quando non va noi tiriamo fuori e rimettiamo le cartucce. Dopo alcuni tentativi ce li riconosce però ci stampa alcuni colori sì e altri no. Ora non ci riconosce il nero e non parte la stampa. Grazie in anticipo
