Eaton Fire explodes in Altadena; evacuations ordered

The Eaton Fire burning in the Angeles National Forest and LA's San Gabriel Valley was one of the several fires that erupted in Los Angeles County as destructive Santa Ana winds continued to rip through Southern California.

I can’t imagine not dropping the damn equipment and helping people. They could have taken the three horses and gave those folks the ability to go back for more. At a certain point life should take the priority. Either stay out and be safe or help, but don’t slow people down and get in the way.

That’s actually a block from sierra madre on the south and 3 blocks north is Altadena Ave. it’s the city of Pasadena. That hill on fire is kinneloa mesa.
