Family forced to flee their home as the Eaton Fire exploded

As the Eaton Fire broke out near their Altadena home, Jeffrey and Cheryll Ku realized they had to leave immediately, with footage showing them loading their car and fleeing the flames in a matter of minutes.

They told ABC News their house miraculously survived the Eaton Fire, but many of their neighbors "lost everything."

This is just so sad and heartbreaking to watch. To try to put yourself in this family's situation is horrible. I'd be an emotional wreck having to pack up quickly and leaving knowing your house is likely going to be destroyed.
