My one and only regret in life was the day in the middle of summer at Sebastian Inlet he was out with us. He had won his sixth title the season before. After the session me and my bud Frank (sponsored by Hurley and Byrne) were just chilling by the steps and he comes next to us and shoved his weird ass Cheyne Horan type pintail into the sand and started chatting us up. When I told him that New Smyrna was chest high plus the day before he was all" let's go, I'll drive us" I was so stunned and nervous that I declined and said I had to work(I was a waiter in Orlando). WTF was I thinking!!???!!? My only life regret.😂🎸

You know what, i think Kelly will take a 5-6 years break from the Tour. Will get a wildcard around his 60's as long as pipe is bombing, he will win it, and may even win the tour as 60 🐐. This will leave him enough time to fully fix all permanent injuries with all the upcoming Ai's and nanotech and biotech replacements. That's not impossible

Another *If : Tour would have to be the early years ASP dream tour again with less stops, longer waiting periods. No more pool air contests. Unfortunately WSL doesn't seem to listen to his audience, and has it's own agenda :(

His definitely the goat! But I’m not a fan of guys needing to resort to air in competition? Although definitely impressive… I’ve always liked guys/girls that are really good on the rail! more power surfing fluent driving power! I’m pretty sure Mick won the bells that year and beat Kelly with good rail surfing in that competition 🤙🏽
