Square-0.5 and Square-not1 was genius, to see that a big bandaged piece makes it more complicated. I can't wait for an actual algorithm analysis for both of them

Someone: Hey, is that a 1x1?
Z3Cubing: No, it's my *Square-(-3)*

I think we can go further. I expect a video on the Square-3, the Square-1/3, the Square-e, and the Square-i soon

I would call the Square0/Square2 a "Square Two halves" (Square 2/2). The new name is still distinct from Square 1, but also still mathematically holds.

These puzzles are super trippy lol. Great video as always, I can’t even wrap my mind around how you’re even doing this.

Amazing. I love bandaged puzzles! I'd love to try this out. Also there is one more version you missed called "big block bandaged square-1". But I can definitely understand why it's not included as it's not a straightforward piece swap mod like the rest

I thought that you would swap one layer's pieces with another, but this definitely seems more crazy (also I've heard that a "Square-3" exists by putting square-1 pieces on one side and square-2 pieces on another)

You should call the Square-0 and Square-2 mod the "Square-1Type2"

Square 3: cut the middle layer in half on a Square 2 E(dge).
square 2 M(iddle): cut the middle layer in half but leave the top and bottom as on a Square 1.

Fun fact: the square -1 is actually a square -0.5, because every level down removes 4 pieces, but that only removed 2.

Can you make tiles that can change a square 2 to a 1 or 0 it would save a lot of money

leave it to z3 to find the funniest possible mods.

Wouldn’t the square negative 1 you made, actually be a square negative 0.5, because the difference between the square 0, square 1, and square 2 is two divisions of the the top and bottom layer, meaning you would need to remove 2 divisions of the top and bottom layer of the square 0 to make an actual square negative 1?

You could do a puzzle that's one big Square-Negative-One piece and four Square-One pieces per side and call it the Square-Not-Zero. Or, if you're British, Square-Not-Naught ;)

The last puzzle should be called “Square One Alternative” or “SQ-1 Alt”.

Yoo no way I actually almost called the -1 completely in terms of design

(I made a comment recently on his last sq- video with the trifecta and didn't expect to see this)
