Yes this is a big problem when dealing with most calvinists because they won't listen . It's because most of them are convinced they're correct because they put their faith in the so-called giants of the faith . The giants that claim GOD does desire some to perish when GOD literally says that HE doesn't. It's crazy .

Calvinism summerized: Satan wants everyone. God does not.

Setting aside Calvinism for a second, how do you deal with that question? Unless one is a universalist, God ultimately could ensure no one perish, yet some do.

Confirmation bias of being in the "in" group keeps many calvinist stuck in deception.

No Calvinist can squirm out of this one:
1 Timothy 4:10 KJV
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, *_who is the Saviour of ALL MEN, specially of those THAT BELIEVE._*

Yes God wants all people to go to heaven.. No, just because God desires something this does not mean it will come to pass. No Sovereignty does not mean Control over man’s free will.

Matthew 23:37 NKJV
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

God wanted to do something and man did not want to.

1 Timothy 2:3-4 NKJV
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, [4] who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Who desires ALL MEN TO BE SAVED…

1 John 2:2 NKJV
And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

Jesus the propitiation for the whole world..

Simple.. unless your a Calvinist and have swallowed it’s Lies…

Do you not see a difference in what God desires and what God wills? I'll give you an example there are many. Did God desire that sin come into the world? Of course he didn't but was it his will that it happened? God hates sin and is the complete opposite of it. That doesn't mean that he didn't have a plan or letting it come into the world. God does not desire that any should perish but in his plan people do. If we reject him it's because we do it not because he made us do it. It is unmistakable that faith is a gift repentance is a gift believing and every spiritual blessing but somehow if we do not repent and believe then we are guilty for it. I don't know how that works out in the mind of God I just know that's what scripture teaches.

No it's a verb, it is not a noun.

Answer the question?

Alright I’m seeing a lot of Calvinists in the comments, so I’ll ask y’all some things here.
1. Can a non elect ever be saved? And can an elect ever be damned? If your answer to this is no for both, evangelism(God’s command for us) is irrelevant.
2. If God decreed everything for His will and pleasure, what in the world is the idea of sin in the Bible? How can something offensive to God be pleasurable to Him at the same time?
3. This video is not a straw man of calvinism, just because you don’t have consistency in your beliefs, that is, accept all the consequences of Calvinism, doesn’t mean that this analogy is incorrect.

Note how many times the term 'elect' is used in the Old Testament as the first elect were the Hebrews. Then note in Isaiah how God says He'll save (select) one-in-ten as a 'remnant' and after that you can interpret what Yeshua means when He tells us that nobody can come to Him unless the Father draws (selects) them for salvation.

Malachi 1:3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, *having no hope* and without God in the world

Romans 9:17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

Romans 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

God doesn’t love everybody. He doesn’t want to save everybody otherwise he would. He’s God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.

Deuteronomy 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
Deuteronomy 7:7 The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:
Deuteronomy 7:8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
Deuteronomy 7:10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

Now why would God choose a specific people for his and not the entire planet if he loves everybody and wants everybody to be saved?

You people are ignorant. You just want to feel good.

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

The old is the shadow of the new. God has always sacrificed and dwelled in the temple of his people not every single person on the planet. And he never will.

This perspective is pure conjecture. He offered no solution, nor scripture. He also offered a description of the opposing views that both fit in the same sentence. He offered no evidence for these.

I'll offer the same type of argument. Jordan is a pink elephant and Leighton Flowers is a purple giraffe. You don't like either of those do you?

Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Jesus is the priest of his people not everybody on the planet. His sacrifice was for his people. It’s the real thing for spiritual Israel, which is the shadow of the literal Israel.

God is always for his people not everybody on the planet. He never has been, nor never will be.
