I have been an outsider to my community since childhood, a teenager yearning for something beyond the confines of our narrow world. The internet became my refuge, a gateway to diverse cultures and perspectives. It was a startling discovery that absolute truths are not universal, but rather subjective concepts shaped by individual experiences and beliefs.

This new awareness ignited a desire to forge my own path, develop my own mind, and shape my own philosophy. However, living with such ambitions in the Middle East was like navigating a mental prison. To put it more bluntly, our current reality mirrors the intellectual repression of the Middle Ages, but technology and the internet make it a little less severe.

Despite these challenges, there is still hope. At eighteen, I am determined to pursue freedom, especially intellectual freedom. The soothing music I listen to offers temporary comfort, a gentle reminder that brighter days may lie ahead.
