It seems like you got off track with the purpose of your review.

These two cameras are probably the best you can buy in the bridge camera category, at a much more reasonable cost!

People considering these cameras don’t likely want to pay the high price or carry the weight or bulk of professional equipment, they want a prosumer camera that’s light and easy to carry.

Don’t forget that the very best camera is the one you have with you! 📷

I have had 2 fz1000 cameras. I am thinking of buying another one or going with a Sony. Thanks for dissuading me from the Sony. If you need more zoom from the Panasonic, just lower the pixels abit. I just like the way
EVERY shot is in reach with the Pany. I have even shot indoor real estate photos with it. The ease of Point Zoom and Shoot can’t be understated.
I have found that ia or intelligent auto option works very well!

Most of us can't afford a high end camera, and multiple lenses. Bridge cameras fix that because you got multiple focal lengths to pick from. Gotta play how you weigh and my pockets are light. So yeah bridge camera for the win😂😊

Somehow logical that 1 inch sensors need more light but producing them as bad is not entirely okay.

The valued hobby photographer is also not necessarily dependent on taking photos and can choose when he takes photos and I saw photos from the wildlife area from both cameras, which were simply great.

Even a full-frame sensor does not always deliver the best quality when the lighting conditions are ****.

It is clear that a larger sensor captures more light and allows higher ISO values, but good light is still important.

A good photo stands and falls, no matter which sensor or camera model.

Talking about 7c? Holy crap. Go for Middle format instead.

I get what you are saying about not being embarrassed by the photos of the 1" sensor, bridge cameras. I own the FZ1000, and it's getting old, the screen had been fixed once already and stopped working again, and it is very sensitive to humidity, to a degree that the buttons would stop working and after a week would come back to life again. So I can't really rely on it anymore. I really like the idea of all in one camera, not having to carry so much equipment with me and constantly change lenses, So I thought of buying the RX10iv, second hand. It looks to be better than my FZ1000, faster better focusing, with better zoom and wider aperture (2.4 compared to 2.8). I am frequently bummed with the results of my camera, especially in low light, but not only, I simply get soft, fuzzy, out of focus, photos, although many times I get simply stunning shots, especially in good lighting. I keep seeing the nice photos from the mirrorless cameras, and I also want to shoot like that. Yet, I don't want to invest so much money in a full frame camera and equipment. SO, I looked into the Sony A6400 that seems like a great camera with the APS-C sensor. Not full frame, but the results it produces seems so nice, especially in low light conditions with a nice low f prime lens. So, now, to my question: In your opinion, would you be embarrassed with the APS-C photos as well? Do you really think the photos of the FZ1000 and the RX10iv are so similar, especially at night? Sorry it's so long. THanx
