It never ceasees to amaze me how foreigners think they can educate the native Irish about the facts of their own country

You might have mentioned that Irish culture is based on the ear...music, conversation, jokes.eurovision song contest etc whereas most other European countries culture is based on the designed buildings, efficiency, clean, orderly etc so when you visit Ireland do not hold back in starting a conversation with strangers on the train, in the bus or pub, ...your vacation will be more memorable. I visited Ireland last year and loved the experience. I am not much of a drinker but drinking was so much fun there. 😊

The number of mispronounced words is appalling.

With regards to wealth. The real issue as in much of the western world is that wealth has a very lopsided distribution. Talking about average euro per person has no value when 90% of the wealth is with 10% of the people.

I went to Ireland last August and loved it but #9 stands out to me because I don't remember seeing that many Red heads and I expected to see plenty of them.

Apart from some wrong pronunciations for the word Craic and Sligo, I enjoyed the video and despite I live in Ireland many years I thank you for telling about the Magic Road, which I didn't know anything about. Now I want to go and visit that place!

I’m actually in the Pagan Samhain (said Sah-wen) parade clip, as are 2 of my sisters, that was a bit of unexpected craic!

Fungie passed away in 2020 (at least disappeared). He came with the sea, he
left with the sea. RIP

I've been to Ireland several times. Some of the first times I would be following the GPS, going 60km (a little <40mph) and the road, WITHOUT NOTICE would that a perfect 90 degree turn! These "roads" were like wide sidewalks with grass growing in the middle like no one ever uses them was marked as a major hiway! Some of the roads took me through a valley and had sheep galore. ALL over the road...and they are impervious to car horns. They move when their good & fookin ready!
